"FINDING THE ARTIST WITHIN"

“Finding the Artist Within” is a special program designed for those with physical disabilities, developmental, cognitive and mental health disorders. WHAM has been providing art activities over 10 years. Each class is taught by an experienced artist. Each activity is designed to meet the needs of the specific individual or group.

Our goal is to enrich the lives of these individuals by providing creative and colorful art projects and experiences.

       WHAM has a classroom that is wheelchair accessible and located in a quiet area at the back of the              art Center.

       Classes can be taught at both the WHAM Art Center Location as well as off site to meet the needs                for those unable to come to the Center.

       A lunchroom is also available for use by those bringing lunch along with them. This can be a great               outing – taking an art class, having lunch and viewing the fantastic art in our gallery and gift shop.

Pricing is based on a set amount for groups or per individual which includes all supplies. For offsite classes prices will include supplies, transportation costs and liability insurance.

Classes offered may include:
        Acrylic painting on canvas
        Acrylic pour paintings
        Mixed media
        Alcohol ink on tile and yupo paper
        Clay projects
        Abstracts
        Jewelry projects
        Silk scarves dye projects
        And many others.

Art classes can also be scheduled for birthday parties, family get togethers and special holiday parties.
