Meet Whamy!

Whamy is WHAM Art Center’s friendly mascot, a bright, curious character who loves creativity, color, and the joy of making things by hand. Whamy represents the playful spirit of art: the part of us that experiments, explores, and isn’t afraid to try something new. Whether you’re painting, sculpting, crafting, or simply enjoying the gallery, Whamy is here to remind you that art is for
everyone.

During your visit...

We invite you to join our interactive gallery game, Where’s Whamy? Whamy is hiding somewhere inside the Art Center! Explore the gallery, walk through the halls, and see if you can spot where Whamy is waiting. Once you find all six Whamy’s, visit the docent desk to let us know. You’ll receive a small prize for your discovery.

You’ll find Whamy popping up throughout our events, youth classes, festivals, and community projects. Whamy loves to encourage artists of all ages from first-time makers to lifelong creators. Whamy believes that every piece of art has a story, and every person who walks through WHAM’s doors brings something unique and meaningful with them.

So take your time, look closely, and enjoy the creativity around you. Whamy is glad you’re here and can’t wait to be found!
