August 2026 Exhibition
Experience the sights, emotions, and atmosphere of summer in Dog Days of Summer, WHAM Art Center's newest exhibition on display August 1–28, 2026.

Featuring artwork in a variety of mediums, this exhibit explores the warmth, stillness, nostalgia, and vibrant energy of the season through the unique perspectives of talented local and regional artists.
Join us for the Artist Reception on Sunday, August 16, from 4:00–6:00 PM, where you will have the opportunity to meet the exhibiting artists, enjoy light refreshments, and celebrate creativity in our community. The reception is free and open to everyone—we hope to see you there!

​​​​​Through the Looking Glass is an exhibition celebrating creativity, interpretation, and the many ways we see the world.
It encourages everyone to look beyond the obvious and explore perspective in all its forms—literal, emotional, symbolic, or imagined.
Join us and explore ideas such as perception, reflection, transformation, imagination, and the unexpected, through realistic, abstract, conceptual, whimsical, or experimental perspectives.

Presented by the Phoenix Artists Guild, this special exhibition features a diverse collection of original artwork created by its talented members.
Showcasing a variety of artistic styles and mediums, the exhibition reflects the creativity, passion, and dedication of artists from across the Valley.

The Phoenix Artists Guild (PAG) is committed to encouraging the appreciation of fine art through public exhibitions, promoting ethical practices in original art, supporting educational opportunities in the visual arts, and fostering camaraderie, cooperation, and encouragement among artists.

WHAM Art Center is proud to host this exhibition and welcomes visitors to experience the exceptional work of the Phoenix Artists Guild members.
November 2026 Exhibition
Walking Through Words
Exhibition Dates: November 1 – 29, 2026​​
​WHAM Art Center proudly presents the second annual
Walking Through Words - a celebration of literary art in visual form.
​
In collaboration with WHAM’s Literary Arts Program, this November exhibition invites published authors to transform their book covers into framed poster works for display in our gallery.
​
Let your words step beyond the page and into a physical space where readers and art lovers can connect with your literary vision in a new way.
​
Participating authors will also have the opportunity to include a bio and book synopsis for visitors to view alongside their work, creating a more immersive exhibition experience. Accepted authors will also be invited to offer their books for sale during the show.
​
Bring your published work to life and let your cover speak volumes in this unique fusion of literature and visual storytelling.

Presented by the Arizona Professional Photographers Association (AZPPA), this special exhibition features a diverse collection of photographic works created by talented photographers from across Arizona; Showcasing a variety of styles, subjects, and techniques, the exhibition reflects the creativity, skill, and unique perspectives of its members.
The Arizona Professional Photographers Association is dedicated to supporting photographers through education, mentorship, professional development, and artistic growth.
By fostering a collaborative community and encouraging excellence in the photographic arts, AZPPA inspires photographers at every stage of their creative journey.
WHAM Art Center is proud to host this exhibition and welcomes visitors to experience the exceptional work of Arizona Professional Photographers Association members.
