The purpose of the “Art Gone Wild at the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium” is to advance the knowledge and appreciation of art within the community and assist local professional and amateur artists as well as Teens in developing skills to present the highest quality of art to the community. WHAM wants to engage with local area High School Art Students to help develop an awareness of the support offered at WHAM Art Center on 16560 N. Dysart Rd., Surprise, AZ; as well as within the West Valley professional art community. WHAM also awards scholarships for classes on an annual basis to local students to further their arts education.
Both the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium and WHAM have years of history serving the community. Together, the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium and WHAM hope to inspire High School Art students to use their talents portraying the wildlife and gardens at the Zoo. The partnership for this art show event provides favorable publicity, increased attendance, awareness of endangered species and recognition for the participating High Schools.
