WHAM is providing a professional art course to all veterans targeted at veterans with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).
This program is FREE to the veterans. It includes all art supplies, equipment, and a lunch.
WHAM offers them classes in drawing, painting, clay sculpture, gourd making, mixed media and many other mediums.
The classes are instructed by WHAM's volunteer professional artists, along with an assistant volunteer.
There are 12 classes a year, one a month. Each class is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes a Free lunch.
Held at WHAM Art Center on the second Monday of the month.
Or Held at the Peoria Community Center on the fourth Thursday of the month.
The current program is going into its 4th year with many original veterans continuing from when it first started.
